In March 2013 my wife and I began planning a bicycle trip to all of the Trappist breweries in Belgium and The Netherlands. We don’t speak French or Dutch, or even own bicycles. This is the story of that trip. If you want to plan a similar trip then stick around. We will post all of our lessons learned along the way.
We started discussing this trip more than three years ago but life kept getting in the way of making it happen. This year, with new jobs and school behind us, it is finally happening. The first challenge is to map a route, find lodging, and learn how to travel on bikes.
