Tasting Notes: Sprøøs Jøøs 2014

Below are tasting notes for my 2014 version of Sprøøs Jøøs, and English Old Ale with spruce tips. You can find more details about this beer here.

Appearance: Reddish brown, and very clear. An eggshell colored head, and plenty of lace

Aroma: Sweet and toasty with a hint of pine.

Taste: Malty and sweet with a bit of plum, pine, and earthy, herbal flavors. It finishes sweet with a bit of citrus, apple, and wild berries. It’s definitely boozier than last years version.

Honestly I don’t think I’ll change a thing for the 2015.
